What is the risk of sharing wi-fi with a neighbor?

A neighbor offered to share wi-fi for half the fee. He needs it for work. An adult man will not engage in such bullshit as sniffing, etc. But the question is, can he do it? - firstly, and secondly, if he downloads any forbidden perverted videos, how will it affect my computer. Can I secure my PC from such actions?

Quite a reasonable suggestion. As far as I know, the provider prohibits this, plus it smacks of illegal business.
If you are afraid, then set up your router, for example, on mine, Wnr 612v2 has both isolated channels and "guest" mode. If not, write static routes, raise vpn, etc.
If you are afraid that the channel will be clogged with torrents, then you can shape the speed.
ps Any sane examination will show that the PC was downloaded from cocoa, except for the examination of "breaking through ip by brothers: D".
