What is the review time for an app in the AppStore?

Hi everybody!
This is our first time uploading an app to the App Store and time is very limited. It is interesting to know how much time it takes to review an application on average today, is it possible to speed it up somehow? Is checking for app updates faster? Can I download the version with the reduced functionality first, and then roll out the update with the full one?
Here they write that Apple has reduced the time for reviewing applications https://vc.ru/n/app-store-review-time
Please also give advice on what pitfalls there are and how to avoid them. Read the official documentation.
We will download the application as a legal entity .

At the moment they are oooooochen accelerated - really a couple of days. Maybe even send today, tomorrow morning you will find that everything is OK!
If a legal entity, then the registration itself in the app store can take a couple of weeks. There you need to translate documents into English and notarize this translation.

If time is very limited, you can ask them for an expedited review. But this can only be done once in a lifetime (this is not a joke!)

Checking for an update takes the same amount of time as the first download.

There is a great site that collects statistics from developers who tweet appreviewtimes.com

It used to be about 5 days for any applications, but recently they seem to have been fixed and the time for checking the application began to take 1-2 days (as they promised).
But as I understand it, the time may slightly increase or decrease depending on the size of the application, the branching of the logic and the number of controversial points, and it may also increase from a large number of internal purchases.
I also heard that in some cases you can ask to check the application very quickly if the application is large and you have some kind of very unpleasant bug there. Haven't heard of other cases.
