What is the required level of TypeScript required for front-end'ra?
Hello.
I looked at vacancies on fronts, in 50% of cases they write that knowledge of TypeScript is required.
QUESTION: What do they mean by that? What kind of TS questions are asked at frontend interviews?
The fact is that I have always written in vanilla + react, and only the last 5 months, we are slowly transferring the application to TS. Of course, TS has not yet mastered all the intricacies, so the question is, what should I expect at the social services about TS? What is it preparing for? And is it worth worrying, because about a year and a half ago, they already wrote about TS in vacancies, but at that time no one drove on social security, only js.

It seems to me that this item rather checks the attitude of the applicant to TS. Some people used to spit on him a lot. Like, this is generally a useless thing, since it compiles to js, then there is no sense in it.
They may ask you to type something. But it is unlikely that they will directly drive strongly according to the documentation.
I personally ask questions to find out whether a person understands TS or will have to be taught. In my extensive experience of conducting those interviews, about TS, weed out only one person with radical beliefs caused by the Blub paradox.
And so I usually check the basic understanding of how TS works and what is in it.
I'm asking the difference between unknown and any.
I can give a problem on infer or extraction of a type part.
I'll take an interest in what you like from the latest innovations.
