What is the relevance of the 2016-17 Python courses?

Specifically interested in the Howdy Ho course, vidos 2016.

He seems to have python 3.5, so I wanted to know if it is worth studying it, being on version 3.8.3 Is there a big
difference in them or can you safely watch these videos from the course? If not, please suggest relevant alternatives in the form of free courses or free. books (I think they will suit me just fine)
