Question about the book "Algorithms for the Intelligent Internet"

Does it have any significant differences from Programming the Collective Mind? The theme and scope seem to be similar, only the code is written in Java, not Python. In other words - is it worth it to buy if I have already read the "collective mind"?

Not worth reading at all (especially after Programming the Collective Mind). I didn’t like the book at all, the translation is very so-so and even examples in Java, the meaning of which is lost in a bunch of boilerplate code
