What is the reason that the cooler is spinning in different directions?

Hello! I assembled a computer for the first time and ran into such a problem, when I connect a 4pin cooler to one of the connectors on the motherboard, it starts to behave strangely. At first he tries to start in one direction very slowly, then he stops, time passes, he tries in the opposite direction. And so it is cyclical.
If you connect it to another connector, then everything is in order, the cooler spins as it should.
I do not know which item to sin on to take to the store. Can you please tell me what could be the reason for this behavior?

Since there are 4 pins, it most likely supports smart rotation speed control - which is what the motherboard uses :)
Apparently, during your tests, there is a very small load / temperature, so it does not spin.

Try any other working cooler to connect to the fan connector (preferably a working one), if it also spins in different directions, then the problem is on the mother.
P.S. I didn’t even think that the cooler was able to spin in the return line.

Are you sure it's a cooler connector? If it sticks in, it's not a fact that it's for a cooler, maybe tuning pins. In the passport of the card, what does it say about the connector?
