What is the "qt quick emulation layer crashed" error?

Installed new Qt 5.8. Decided to see how it works. I go into the qml editor - immediately gives the error "qt quick emulation layer crashed".
What could it be? Is it curable?

Do not use a graphical QML editor, everyone writes declarative code by hand.
