What is the purpose of the DS_Store file in OS X?
I found how to get rid of this file, but nowhere could I find an answer to the question:
What actually can happen after its removal and how will the system react?
Since it is not convenient to work with files that are thrown from OS X to Windows. They interfere every minute.

The view of the folder display in the finder is stored there. Icon size, location, etc. If deleted, the view of this folder will be reset to standard.
