What is the problem with nginx?

nginx.conf

user www-data;
worker_processes auto;
pid /run/nginx.pid;
include /etc/nginx/modules-enabled/*.conf;

events {
        worker_connections 768;
        # multi_accept on;
}

http {

        sendfile on;

        tcp_nodelay on;
        keepalive_timeout 65;

        # server_tokens off;

        # server_names_hash_bucket_size 64;

        include /etc/nginx/mime.types;
        default_type application/octet-stream;

        error_log /var/log/nginx/error.log;

        include /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/*;
        include /home/adel/Documents/Projects/projname/ngnix_configs/projname.back.conf;
}

projname.back.conf
server {
    listen 80;

    root /home/adel/Documents/Projects/projname/projname.back/build/client/src/;

    access_log  ...

    server_tokens off;
    client_max_body_size 60M;

    location / {
  try_files $uri $uri/ /index.html;
  expires -1;
    }

    location /api {
  proxy_pass http://localhost:8585/api;
  ***
    }

    location /ws {
        proxy_pass http://localhost:7003;
        ***
    }

}

I start the server on port 8585, everything is ok.
When navigating to localhost:80 in the browser,

why isn't the content of root displayed?

@adelkhalitov

Usually you can't run services on ports <1024 without root rights
Run your nginx on port 8080
