What is the plugin for storing images in Wordpress?

I need to have a separate something in the admin panel where you can attach images and get information about them with the code in the template. That is, in fact, I need a gallery with the ability to access images from the template. All that I found use a shortcode with a standard output that cannot be changed. Is there anything like that?
