What is the optimal size for a pdf presentation?
What is the optimal size to make a pdf presentation of the company, if it is attached to the site and sent by email. Recently I have noticed that there are a lot of ready-made design templates with sizes of 1920x1080 px, but I don’t understand this trend, since the screen presentation should weigh lighter and be more mobile. I like the ratio of 9:16 and the size of the slides 960x540 px. Or is it worth doing a little more since the presentation is all custom. What do you advise?

I always do 1920x1080 because it's a very common resolution these days and a Full-HD presentation with quality pictures makes a very strong impression. You can’t even imagine how many rave reviews you can get just by stuffing high-quality pictures in full screen, on top of them a translucent plate and text.
It is convenient to do it in InDesign, it also allows you to attach animation to slides, provided that the PDF is viewed in full screen mode (there is an option to force the PDF to open immediately in full screen). Another convenience is exporting to Interactive PDF format, where you simply specify the resolution for images (72) and quality (high or very high is optimal) - and that's it, you get a wonderful lightweight PDF. A dozen Full-HD slides with full-screen images (not stretched, of course, but initially at least full-hd quality) with text and tables can easily fit in 1-2 mb.
Well, of course, you must not forget to work out the typography with high quality, otherwise you can screw up the magical effect of full-hd pictures :)
