What is the name of this effect when a block is cut off on one side of the screen and continues on the other at the same level?

Hello!
To make it clearer:

Instead of text, there can also be a picture or a filled block. I just can’t find a search query to search for the implementation of this thing, because I can’t think of a name for this.
So far, the option of copying a block just flashes in my head - one on the right, the other on the left, but we are not looking for easy ways, what if there will be 100500 such blocks and we will have to make a duplicate for each?

This is the most common slider, put 2 identical pictures for example here kenwheeler.github.io/slick and get this effect.
