This style is called Flat (flat design), which implies the use of "flat" elements, without gradients, volume effects, photorealism (skeuomorphism) and so on.
A more meaningful direction of flat design (meaning more typed) is Material Design - the so-called "material design" from Google, used in new versions of the Android OS, as well as in other Google products. It has well-documented style guides, including visual component types and lists of recommended colors (palettes).
