What is the name of the fast scrolling effect?

Maybe I didn’t ask the question quite correctly, because I don’t even know how to call it correctly)
In general, on some landing pages there is such a number effect when it quickly changes from 0 to the desired number, in general, you understand what I mean, like a timer , but fast, or something ..
Who knows what this effect is called and what plugins you recommend for its implementation? Or maybe there is even a simpler code?

How to use JavaScript to organize the increase of a number from 0 to say 3000 so that you get a smooth enumeration of (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ... )?
