What is the most reliable email client in terms of security?

Hello, it became necessary to use an email client. Previously, I used a client from Mozilla, but there was a vulnerability, there was a utility, when launched, all passwords from email clients were displayed, incl. mozilla thunderbird.
Are there such security problems now? Which client is the most difficult to hack?

I think if a complex of measures is taken to protect information, any client will be safe.
The main task of the client is the processing of mail messages.

If this applies to a desktop computer, then an easy way to put a TrueCrypt thread on it, create an encrypted partition and keep all files with mailboxes in it. You leave - turned off the computer, and no one can get into the mailbox on the encrypted disk without a password.
If a laptop - this solution may also work, but you need to unmount the disk when you go to sleep, or do it manually.
