What is the most efficient way to post messages over STOMP?

1. Have a MySQL database
   
2. There is WebServer on vert.x
   

If I understood correctly from the documentation , you can raise a STOMP server and broadcast incoming STOMP messages to the eventbus.
Found a code that allows you to call java methods from mysql functions. Haven't tested performance yet.
What is the most efficient way to post messages over STOMP to implement it in the code of a function that can be called from a Mysql UDF?
And what pitfalls did I not take into account in this chain?
