What is the maximum ram frequency for Ryzen?

Tell me, given the overclocking of Ryzen processes, does it make sense to take RAM with a frequency higher than that supported by the processor, or does it make no sense and there will be no performance gain?
Example:
- MSI B450M PRO-VDH (RAM Clock: 3466 MHz)
- AMD Ryzen 5 2400G (Max. DDR4 2933 MHz)
- Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (3000 MHz)
Is there any point in using mother and RAM with a frequency higher than supported by the processor?

You can disperse one thing or another. In addition, you can just take it with an eye on a further upgrade.
Consider that the processor and memory presented by you have the same frequency.

High memory frequency can be useful for overclocking.
If overclocking is not planned, then it may make sense to take fast memory if an upgrade is planned in the future and this memory may come in handy in the future.
But there may be a problem in that if you wait too long for an upgrade, this memory may no longer be relevant.
