ActionList is a container for Actions, obviously. This is his main goal. It is needed mainly in order to provide an interface for managing actions in the designer. Well, an additional bun is the ability to disable / enable all actions at once.

Adds convenience. All actions in one place (they are convenient to manage). And we can say that the action becomes the main one, and not some component (for example, a button). Create an action, name it meaningfully. You create a button, create a menu item, assign the same action to both elements (and the method in the code is not called Button1Click, but based on the logic of the action itself). Although almost all of this can be done manually without ActionList.
