What is the equivalent of DeepFreeze on Debian (Astra) Linux?

Hey!
There is an idea to mount the main file system in read-only mode and somehow into RAM so that you can change something, configure it, and after a reboot, all the changes made disappear. Help with specific settings/commands.

overlayfs. Specifically for Debian - fsprotect, overlayroot, bilibop-lockfs.
