What is the difference between the response time of GtG and BtW, and how to convert the value from one unit to another?
I choose a laptop for games. The model that I like has a resolution of 1920x1080, an IPS matrix and a 120 Hz screen. The official information doesn't talk about the response time, but some tests show that the response time is 27-28 ms (BtW).
I'm wondering how much 27-28ms (BtW) will be in GtG? Will such a monitor be suitable for various games, including competitive ones? Will there be a noticeable difference with faster response times or is it all marketing?

BTW (Black-to-White) is roughly speaking the time spent by a pixel from the "off" position to the "on" position.
GTG (Gray-to-Gray) is the time it takes a pixel to transition from one color to another. He is naturally much smaller than BTW.
Those essentially 25ms BTW could be 5ms GTG equivalent. There is no formula - it's just different measurement systems.
Now, GTG is the standard in marketing because the numbers are much more enticing.
