It will, but the load will not be due to the connection of the FullHD monitor, but because of the attempt to watch FullHD video.
An increase in resolution, of course, also brings an increase in the resources spent on maintenance, but in terms of servicing the "desktop" this will not significantly affect.
But in general, I do not recommend getting involved in FullHD video on laptops.
