This year I am entering (Ukraine) and I would like to know what is the difference between these areas. The passing score for the budget in software engineering is higher, respectively, and the chance to enter it is less, which is why the question.

I only know that computer engineering spreads knowledge not only in software development, but also in the development of operating systems and robotics. With which direction (diploma (?)) is it easier to find a vacancy for a software developer (if it affects)?

I myself decided that I want to deal mostly with software development.

The university does not provide any tangible knowledge for the developer. Everything in the university is set up to receive higher education approved by the ministry. By modern standards, you need to become a developer separately and independently. And at the university you should master mathematics, literacy (you even have it lame in the question), patience (to pass all subjects) and strengthen your English. It should not be a good grade in the university program, but at a conversational level.
