What is the difference between ipv6 /48 and /64?

Hello.

What is the difference between ipv6 /48 and /64?

I ask because the prices differ. Subnets / 64 are allocated for free, for / 48 they ask for money. Plus social networks /64 send very quickly to the ban.

And how to visually distinguish an address from /48 from /64?

No way. Subnets exist in the routing phase. If you do not have a direct route to the subnet, then you cannot assert that the address belongs to the subnet.
What subnet does 165.10.43.33 belong to? IPv6 is no different in this regard.

This is the subnet size, not the address.
Any case, it doesn't matter what subnet size the IP address is from

Read the RIPE policy . In short, /48 is issued to providers or LIRs (it is necessary to accompany the entry in the RIPE database), /64 are issued just like that to the final host.
