What is the difference between developing an app with Unity (2d) on android and just building an app?

Let's say I'm building an app (2D) on android using Unity. What will be the difference between scripts and commands? In other words, will the command "when you press a key on the keyboard OR on the screen" do it. How big is the difference?

General only programming principles and runtime environment (android).
Everything else is fundamentally different. Starting from the programming language and ending with the user interface.
