What is the correct way to back up raid1 hard drives?

Hello, I'm asking for help.
There are 2 ssd disks in raid1 256GB, you need to make a backup on wd 1Tb.
How can I do that?

@sashkets

actually from Linux it is possible. hook this new hard, boot into linux and from the console
dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/sdb conv=sync,noerror
where sda is a raid1 array, sdb is wd 1Tb
as a last resort clonezilla should help

@nadz

FIG knows how it is right there, if snapshots.
We make it easier: rsync.
UPD: Although I remembered. If zfs, then there is generally an awesome opportunity to do FS snapshots.
Well, if suddenly this is some kind of Xen thread, then DomX can be snapshot just as well.
