What is the correct/recommended disk layout for GNU Linux Debian 7 Wheezy?
Previously, I just marked out 5GB for SWAP, everything else was under the system. How will it be more correct and what consequences await me in the future?

swap size usually depends on the amount of RAM you have installed.
My swap has a size of 8 gb with 8 gigs of ram installed.
The rest is used for the root directory.
And what about home. I saw somewhere that almost every directory is shoved into a separate section? or I'm wrong
