What external sound card do you recommend for Linux?

I want to install a more or less good external sound system on Debian. Who has experience installing those on Linux-e? I 'm looking at Creative X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro , but I don't know if it will start.
Scope: mainly listening to music in a fairly good quality
What do you recommend?

This grid is designed to build a composition "according to science". In fact, it's useless for a layout designer. Remove all excess cobwebs and leave vertical guides for the main semantic blocks. Then, according to the logic of the layout, you will orient yourself :)

Oh, those crazy designer grids. when a designer is not confident in himself and his work, he begins to "justify" the layout with some fictitious supposedly correct grids.

Wow cobweb))) And what's wrong with the old grid with columns of 12, 16, etc.)) It's very strange that they made such a grid with such a weak layout. On the first screen you can see that the right side is 50% and the left side is the same. Both the right and left blocks have paddings separating them. I would do flex or grid if old browser support is not important. And each nested block in the flex container is 50%, inside each of the blocks you can also use flexes. If you like grid, then use some css library with grid (there are a whole bunch of them now)

If I'm not mistaken, this is the model I have.
Works under linux. (ubunta 16.04 LTS)
Of the minuses, the twist does not work. Sound control only in guis.
Not seen out of the box ALSA'oy in pulseaudio is displayed correctly, there were no problems.
The DU remote seems to be able to start, but also does not work out of the box.
On the plus side, there are no problems with the sample rate, or at least I'm lucky.
Good mic input.
