Please tell me how and what tools are best to use, in case you need to show the project of a working site to the customer?
It seems to me that the most convenient way is to set up hosting on your computer, but I don’t know how to do it yet ...

You will have to study TCP routing - port forwarding and configure the router. Buy a white IP from a provider and study DNS.
You will have to learn a lot of things: Linux, apache, nginx, mysql, postgres and, let's call them, programming language environment variables. Get ready to ask 101 more questions here :))) It's
easier to buy a simple hosting and place a demo version there.
But this is not entirely true - it depends on the projects themselves. For example, you have to look for a hosting that has Python, Nodejs and PHP for a long time if you run different projects or buy several hostings.
Or carry your computer to the customer ... I mean like Bitnami, Denver (if still alive).
