What is the best way to set up Google Ads?
Good afternoon.
There is such a site . Now there is a question about its promotion. SEO had to be abandoned immediately due to the high competition in the niche, so it was decided to promote it using contextual advertising. Need help. The site is quite specific (single-page store) and I don’t have much experience in setting up Google Ads.
*I'm using a "Smart Campaign"
Q:
I thought it would be better to use small tags for this campaign due to the small assortment, for example: "plastic cafe furniture". This will attract only the target audience that is interested in our offer and reduce costs. Is my assumption correct, or is it better to expand the audience with large tags?
Additional question:
At the moment, there is no data on conversion and average check. If someone can name the approximate level of conversion of such a site, I will be very grateful.
Here is the current set of tags:
Potential audience size: 25,518 people. per month
Thank you in advance.

In the absence of experience, starting with narrow targeting will be the right decision. When using low-frequency queries that are closest to your topic, you risk getting few impressions and clicks. But when using high-frequency queries and broad targeting, you run the risk of wasting your budget quickly. Therefore, it is better to start small.
Although the use of a smart campaign and the lack of experience in advertising management will most likely result in a lack of conversions and unnecessary spending anyway. You will have to learn and gain experience at the expense of your own budget.
As for conversion, 1.5-2% is often taken as the "average for the hospital", but this all varies greatly for each site, for each business area.
About the site itself: it's terrible.
And illiterate.
:)
This is not trolling, this is a statement: you really just throw away money .
It won't do much for any budget.
The site needs to be fixed.
