What is the best way to remove store code from Magento2 url?

It was necessary to additionally register manually - just in html - switching storeview to M2 - links like /?___store=en and /?___store=de lead to the necessary storeview.
How is it easier and more correct to remove these ?___store=.... from the address bar?
