What is the best way to regularly back up Windows 10 computers?

I tried to use Veeam Agent, but everything was fine exactly until the error appeared: DataTransfer.SyncDisk . It was not possible to overcome it, well, judging by the forum, for some people it still occurs periodically.

I tried to use Paragon (I just managed to get a license) there a problem surfaced with the fact that after setting up the task, network folders become unavailable after a while. Although at the time of setting up the task, it clings to this folder without any problems, but it does not make backups there as a result. The off-site solution with editing the registry does not bring results.

I liked that Veeam and Paragon can create an iso for further booting and restoring the system. In Paragon, in general, you can immediately register which folder to mount at boot and authorization details.

Tell me, what other options can I use for regular backups at home?

Regular backup can work both with disk images (to restore the operating system) and protect files (see "file history"). For a home, a regular backup system is enough, because it is configured once. The only point is that if a path longer than 255 characters is found, backups are no longer created without warning, so hang up a PS script for an error so that it displays a warning window.

Disappointed in all the backup and backup tools, eventually went to virtualization. Now everything works perfectly!!! I use Proxmox - an add-on for debian + kvm, for Windows toys in a virtual machine with gpu passthrough
