Backup

What are the best software solutions for setting up and protecting the network, controlling and backing up databases and data for a small office?

In connection with the company's relocation, I'm going to take over the administration of the network. Make everything from scratch.
Interested in programs for backup 1C databases, network monitoring and protection.
Software package, if any.
Also interesting are tips on hardware - how many servers to have (backup, database, 1s, etc.)

Take what you can :)
1C can be backed up in different ways, depending on the form of the database - SQL or file. With the file one, everything is simple in general - they just archived it and put it in a mess.
Monitoring is generally a complex matter, you can monitor the availability of servers and workstations (disks, loads, etc.) with Zabbix, as for security monitoring, this is generally an integrated approach and a separate industry with its own huge amount of knowledge.
In general, your question is very vague.
Well, even the question about the number of servers is such .... it all depends on the hardware and loads.

This is not a question, but a decent freelance task. Without data on the load and organization of the network, no one will tell you anything - there are zillions of networking options and the same zillions of backup options.

More details are needed. According to 1C - if this is a SQL version - then backup using SQL, it works fine, data and systems can be archived with built-in tools, all backups should be on a separate device, best of all on a good NAS not for Windows, in addition - it should not show folders in Windows - protection against ransomware.
Monitoring - as a variant of Zabbix - you can configure anything and anything.
Network protection - here only after detailed information, but a corporate antivirus and firewall immediately suggests itself.
It is desirable to have servers all virtual - it is much more convenient to maintain.
