What is the best way to install windows?
Hi all! It would seem a banal question, but I didn’t invent an answer to it “on the fly”, so I’m asking.
I bought an ssd drive today, and I want to install it in my laptop - lenovo z570. At the same time, I still have the old hhd, which I will connect via esta. On the hdd there is a factory partition for restoring windows. I don't really want to download any left windows with rutracker.
Question: what is the correct way to install windows from an old hdd to a new ssd?

You don’t need to
download anything “left”, there are original images - rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4133486
It's usually impossible to look at him without crying :)
Recovery and when will the stage of partitioning disks / choosing a place = choose an SSD? Or have I not done this in such a long time? Or will Recovery not have this menu?
Thanks to those who “blow to hell” the hidden partition, I am overwhelmed with work up to my ears. And I've seen enough of the self-configured Windows in the device manager. Those present do not count. On Lenovo, the hidden partition is 20 Gig. Too much even for 120 SSD. I advise you to make a clone of the Ghost volume from your native disk to a new one. Start recovery. Paragon-nom to remove the hidden partition and expand the main one to the freed space. You will receive a fully configured OS with all drivers and utilities. Then make a full update of Windows and Ghost-volume create an image in case of crash or viruses. A good beech, my son has a B570 with 120 SSD. Good luck.
in Acronis True Image Home use Clone or Backup/Recovery. The Plus Pack shouldn't be a problem.
I downloaded the official image of the Windows, the serial number of which is pasted on the system unit and installed it, if it is a seven / whist - ssd chips will be picked up and activated normally, with XP there may be dancing
Nikolay45 tells the point, with any disk copier available to you (I personally prefer Ghost 11.5), merge the image of the old disk, upload it to the new SSD, adjusting the partition sizes if necessary. After - start the laptop and poke into Recovery, the system will restore the image itself, during the initial setup it will see that it is on the SSD and turn on everything you need.
