What is the best way to insert/update a large number of records in YII2, DAO, or AR?

The CSV Import module performs reading from a CSV file and subsequent insert/update operations in the database. csv files can be large, ranging from a few tens to several hundred thousand lines. Accordingly the question. Which is better for inserting/updating a large number of records, DAO or AR? Or you can not be afraid, AR will pull fine?
