What is the best way to implement a backup from windows to freebsd?
There is a freebsd server for backups and win 2008 - a file server.
It is necessary to make a backup copy of all files of users with preservation of the owner and the rights.
There was an idea to use rsync (already configured on freebsd), but with the rights, as I understand it, there will be a jamb.
Now the Windows disk is mounted using mount_smbfs and the rights are also lost.
What is the best way to implement this scheme? Rsync was preferred in that it only copies changed files.
