Hello, what should I do right now, I’m building a site for myself that is not complicated and I want to try to pull up a simple blog on WordPress, there is pagination, how to implement it using WordPress or connect some kind of Jquery plugin, what can you advise a beginner?

I advise you to leave pagination as it is, at most - to fasten a different appearance to css, without changing what wp itself will display, that is, leave html as it is.

Pagination in WordPress is already built-in out of the box, even 2, with flexible settings. The first one is a simple "forward/backward" , the second one is with custom page numbers and so on .
Well, we do the appearance (design) using CSS.
