The question was quite relevant 10-15 years ago.
For five years now, CD / DVD have disappeared altogether and turned into an unnecessary rarity.
Utilities are basically like dirt, for example ImgBurn.

Lightweight, no ads, free, with a choice of recording speed, and most importantly, it comes with Windows 8/10 by default.
The days of Nero with a distribution of 9 gigs are over when they overcame the bar of 200 mb per install.
