What is the best front-end framework to learn?
I study Ruby on Rails, periodically I look through vacancies. I often meet the need for knowledge of front-end JS frameworks. However, I am lost at the sight of their diversity. Interested in which framework to choose for initial study (time is not limited). So that from it, with a minimum of labor costs, you can retrain to others if necessary, it is desirable that the application can be deployed on heroku (less critical). While I'm considering Angular and Vue for myself

I recommend vue.is, it is becoming more and more popular - there is documentation in Russian.
It is simple and understandable, learn it - you will not lose. Yes, there are still few vacancies on it, but this happens with all new technologies, they do not immediately become an unspoken standard, such as react.
1. Check vacancies, which framework is in demand, which one has more vacancies, and build on this.
2. Try both if time is not limited. Understand what you like.
3. I recommend taking a look at the statistics .
4. You can watch the video comparison
don't
learn javascript/node and write your own frameworks
with the rest you'll figure it out when you need it
angular and vue - really cumbersome and inefficient solutions plus creepy hardcoded html
you can develop much simpler and more efficient solutions that allow you to build applications as easily as today build websites on ready-made engines
