What is the API for getting exchange rates and cryptocurrencies?

Good day.

Is there a universal API where I could get USD, EUR exchange rates, and BTC, ETH cryptocurrency rates and more. After reading and searching, I did not find anything universal.

Thank you .

What do you need?
The exchange rate is an ephemeral abstraction, it can be obtained either at a specific point in time in the past (the last transaction) and what is important for a particular exchange and each of them differ, often noticeably, or something averaged over some time , again in the past.
There are also official rates published by the central banks of states (for the ruble, see cbr.ru), which practically do not correlate with what is happening on the stock exchanges, but they indirectly influence each other and are a static number assigned for a day.
The price of the last trade (ticks) in no way guarantees that the next trade will be executed at the same price.
Most exchanges have a glass (for fiat currencies there is no free access to operational information, you will have to pay everywhere, prices are about 3-5t.r. See brokers, for cryptocurrency exchanges see their api, everyone invents what the hell, but for free) - from which it is possible to calculate two prices at each moment of time - purchase and sale, if you make a deal on the market, but depending on the volume of the deal, the numbers will be different.
Some banks give such prices (by the way, they are almost always nightmarishly unprofitable, although I remember Tinkoff stood out noticeably) when making transactions with them, each bank also offers its APIs or more often does not offer them.
All this is because there is a concept of trading liquidity. It is not infinite (there are reservations, for example, look at dex on the air - Synthetix).
ps if you calculate at what price to convert your assets if your client makes a deal, do not forget about commissions

There is no universal. You will have to separately take the exchange rate, and separately the crypt.

So the rates are essentially different on each exchange
