What is the alternative to OOP in Java?

Ku geez.
There was a question about OOP and Java, in my book (Schildt G. Java 8. The Complete Guide. 9th edition) they write about classes, their instances (objects), and in general the main emphasis is on OOP, but I did not notice the alternative to OOP in java. Googling, I didn't come across anything useful. Help please who fumbles for this topic in the language, I will be grateful for the answer.

The Java language was created exclusively for OOP. Over the years, it turned out that limiting to one paradigm is not a good idea, so the language now has more and more functional programming with each release, but only as an addition to OOP.

I'm not an expert in Java, but for me the question is "What is the alternative to OOP in a language that is designed for OOP?" sounds weird. Of course, you can write in other styles, for example, imperative (or, more precisely, in a similar imperative), but this loses the meaning and the main goodies of the language. If you need a different style, then it is better to learn a language focused on this style.
