What is the advantage of mobile social networks?

Dear experts, please do not laugh at my question, because I am not strong in this area.
As you know, there are mobile social networks. I do not mean mobile applications, but a full-fledged social network that is accessible only from mobile devices. For example, like Instagram in the past or Line , Path , Couple , WeChat and others.
What is the advantage of this type of social networks? Less load on the server compared to the browser version? Shorter lead times?
If you have links to articles describing the technical side, architecture, of such projects, please poke your nose at them.

Here the matter is different: analysts were gathered, who calculated and decided that the flow of users would be more from mobile.
Based on the results of these studies, the developers sat down and implemented a mobile client.
Why is there no web login? Apparently, because it is not economically profitable (see the thesis about analysts) :)
and, I think, the questions that you ask here were far from being in the first place among the teams working on those social programs. The main thing for them is to create a flow of users, and what loads the servers less there, what is more is the tenth thing.

Because they are... mobile.
The architecture/load and implementation can be the same as that of regular social networks, or even more.
The bottom line is that they have found their target audience (instagram - lovers of pictures and lovers of taking pictures of everything), etc.
