What is needed for modern web programming?

Recently started doing web programming. Turned 17 years old.
I know html, css very well, including html5, css3. I make layouts, I make good money on it. I am currently learning Javascript. There are successes, I will soon be engaged in jquery.
However, I am constantly tormented by thoughts: "What else do I need ??".
I am interested in what is needed now and in the near future for a web developer to earn decent money and be competitive. What languages do you need to know? What technologies? What to be able to do? How then to look for a job?
If there are any books - I will not refuse. I will also be glad to hear your "stories of becoming a proger". Sorry for such naive questions.

A programmer needs to be able to enjoy things that no one in their right mind would enjoy. And don't think about money. Then they will come.
And most importantly, never say to anyone, and even more so to yourself, "I know very well% anything%".

You need to know a popular language for the web plus a framework,
here are the popular bundles (sorted by popularity):
PHP + Yii / Symfony / CodeIgniter
Python + Django
Ruby + RubyOnRails
Javascript + Node.js
Pick any line and go!
I would advise Python + Django, but you need to look at the demand in a particular city. We have very few vacancies in python in Yekaterinburg, but there are plenty of them in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Node.js is gaining a lot of momentum, there are currently no vacancies, but it seems that this technology is becoming very popular.
From databases, MySQL will be enough for a junior.
Since the web is something, you should be able to make all sorts of different sites, an excellent example is an online store. If you can make an online store, then you will find a job without problems.
Less theory, more practice.
In general, this will be enough for you to get a job, and there you will already see where to move.
