What is more important for search engines, site load time or number of requests?

The site is powered by Wordpress. I check the site for tools pingdom.
With the inclusion of site caching plugins, the site loading speed is 3.64s, the number of requests is 150, the page size is 3.3 Mb.
With plug-ins disabled, the site loading speed is 2.39s, the number of requests is 234, the page size is 3.5 Mb.
What is more important for search engines? Leave cache plugins enabled or disable them?

It is important for the search engine to minimize the number of file requests.
If the number of queries to the database and the page load time increase when caching plugins are enabled, then you are doing something wrong.
