What is meant by type datafile | java task?

Good day.
Not so long ago, I started learning Java and in one of the tasks I came across the following wording:
"The file structure should allow you to run a solution check in the form (using Windows as an example): type datafile | java Task (or type datafile | python Task.py)."
I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to understand this. Thanks in advance.
