What is interesting about enterprise?
Well, usually YP is chosen taking into account what you like best. To understand what you like and what you don't, you have to try it out. Web, games, desktop, etc. - all this can be tested at home.
What about Enterprise development? How do people understand that this is what they need? Do they get hired by the respective companies, and if they don't like it, do they quit and retrain? Or are they just crazy about Java?
Why am I asking this question: how can I try Enterprise to understand whether it is interesting to me or not?

Enterprise is the nature of management. If you work well on the stream and are not eager to get out of the scope of job descriptions, then you are there. Outside the Enterprise, responsibility is more often blurred between different roles, and more needs to be done. Enterprise has more order, but less self-activity.
Something like this
I have always been attracted by huge companies, big money and work in a tie. But specifically in Java brought almost by accident.
Go and work.
Enterprise is about a different approach. There is no "fashionable-stylish-youthful" here, stacks are not changed every year simply because the new stack is cooler - on the contrary, old technologies are dragged here as long as possible, because the reliability of work should be maximum, and service interruptions should be minimal.
Everything here is very strict and very documented, and there are hundreds of regulations for each step.
There are no VKontakte in the workplace.
Here, the security guard always looms invisibly behind your back - and even if there is no one there and you are alone in the room, it does not mean at all that you are not being controlled.
Instead, there are usually some corporate buns - and the thicker the enterprise, the more buns :)
I'm only interested in the salary. The rest is tin. We'll have to work with crutches and Legacy.
And I like the already real working system in the enterprise and the abundance of data that is already making a profit and which can be developed in stages.
Tired of game making, Freelancing at that moment was generally about tears, accidentally came across a c# vacancy, at that moment I knew only ++ , wrote a test and started working.
How can I try Enterprise to understand whether it is interesting to me or not?
