Interestingly, when searching, it remains on their domain. Live search not working. In the code, you can see that "Google Live Search has been disabled due to slow internet connection."
Perhaps due to the fact that they parse the issuance of Google when requested.
It is not clear why all this is done. Perhaps for a number of requests they replace the issuance, but this has not been analyzed.
