What is better to use to convert 10 videos per day?
There is a video, a special format. You need to convert the video to another version. The conversion takes place from a SD card, where the video weighs about a gigabyte. Special software. Many tests have not yet been carried out. On a weak processor, the conversion takes about 3-4 hours. On a more powerful, but still weak, already 40 minutes. (it is not possible to say which one it is now, but the second one was a yoga 3 pro test). If you need to convert about 10 vids per day, everything takes about 2 hours. It is better to purchase 1 very powerful PC or 5 laptops. I understand that there is not enough information, but maybe you can tell something. When converting, only processor power is used.

Logically thinking for 1 powerful processor + components, it will take less than 5 processors and 5 x number of components.
Some very strange alternative - one powerful PC - is still clear, but why is the other option exactly laptops? What for overpaying for screens and so on, when you can take a pack of motherboards with processors, load it all from flash disks and also write to SD cards, controlling this zoo over the network, having neither monitors nor keyboards?
