What is better to study to understand the OS?

What is better to study to understand the OS?
I want to become a cyber security specialist with a low level specialization (OS, maybe drivers). I have already studied high-level things from books and courses.
Which is better for me LFS or MINIX book and code?

See sections Assembly , C/C++ , Computer Architecture , Operating Systems , Security .
As for the books you mentioned - I would choose LFS, at least for a start, because an information security specialist will most likely have to work with Linux, but with MINIX ... you understand.
Well, yes, if you want to deal with Linux at the driver level, I can recommend this book (again from my list): The Linux Kernel Module Programming Guide . But as it seems to me it is more logical to read after LFS.
