What is better to put on client stations, win7 or 10?

Which is better in terms of security? And what distribution kit to take? I do not want to take obviously full of holes or with viruses. And yet, is it possible to install the home version? How much harder in terms of system requirements win 10 than win 7. They seem to be finalizing the top ten and in theory it should be better. Maybe in general to put all the same Windows?

Which is better in terms of security?

Just over 8 months are left before the end of support for Windows 7. The answer, I think, is obvious.
Official.
Can. There is no such prohibition for the operating system. But the Pro edition is easier to manage.
And there is. Works at least not worse on the same hardware, even ancient. Better in some cases.

Which is better in terms of security is a stupid question. It directly depends on the qualifications of the system administrator.
What is better from the OS - certainly Windows 7, if we are talking about a corporate environment and not the newest hardware. On the new one, except for 10, nothing can be installed.
Home or Pro - as it was correctly noted above, if there is no domain, then there is no difference, but if everything is licensed and legal entity, then only Pro, for home they simply will not sell the license to the company.
Regarding the "lightness" - oddly enough, both Windows work about the same on the same hardware. A significant increase in "speed" is not noticeable to the eye and cannot be.
In general, installing the same Windows for everyone is the only orthodox and right way. There is nothing to produce zoos from different versions. If you decide to follow path 7, then all computers of the enterprise should have only 7.

If the hardware is not quite ancient, then Win 10.
Home licenses cannot be used legally. persons.

Which is better in terms of security?
Safe.
I do not want to take obviously full of holes or with viruses.
Well, don't take it with the virus.
And yet, is it possible to install the home version?
Quite if there is no domain.
They seemed to be finalizing the top ten, and in theory it should be better.
In theory.
Maybe in general to put all the same Windows?
Easy.

They seemed to be finalizing the top ten, and in theory it should be better.

"Better" and "easier" are usually antonyms when it comes to modern software and especially its improvements.
For example, when in Munich they decided to send M$ in timber and put Linux in state institutions, one of the economic arguments was the possibility not to upgrade hardware for Linux. When they managed to lobby for the rejection of Munix and the installation of Windows, they immediately dumped a lot of dough for updating the park to the requirements of Ten.
