What is better / more promising full-stack, machine learning or test automation?

Hello!

I have been working in testing for 5+ years, of which several years in test automation. I am satisfied with the salary and working conditions. But I caught myself thinking that over the past year I have not learned anything new. The project is not conducive to the study of new technologies, and I myself did not particularly take the initiative in this direction. Well, okay, the question is not about that. So I decided to think a little about my plans for the future, and I wanted to ask you what you think about the future of IT. Which of the directions, in your opinion, is more promising in terms of finance and demand in the labor market:

  1. Web development. I like the area itself. Here I will highlight 3 sub-directions:
    1. js (Node.js, React). At the moment, as I understand it, this is the most demanded direction. Personally, I almost never worked with Js.
    2. Django Python + something for the frontend in Js. I have already worked with Python as an automator.
    3. ASP.NET. I understand that this is probably not the best direction, but I really like C# itself.

  2. Everywhere they write that the future belongs to AI. There are thoughts, he can try himself in machine learning, and in particular in computer vision.
  3. Stay in test automation, just change the project or take another one for part time, so as not to "stagnate". Level up in technically more complex areas - testing architecture/frameworks, building infrastructure.

It is clear that everyone will have their own vision. I would just like to hear the opinions of people who directly work in the above areas or HR's. How do you see the prospects for development in our industry?

Thank you!

js (Node.js, React). At the moment, as I understand it, this is the most demanded direction. Personally, I almost never worked with Js.

Not sure about "most requested". If you have the skills, you can easily find a job on any of the three presented stacks
ASP.NET. I understand that this is probably not the best direction, but I really like C# itself.

Not so bad actually. ASP NET Core is very good.
Everywhere they write that the future belongs to AI. There are thoughts, he can try himself in machine learning, and in particular in computer vision.

I have never seen such a thing. AI does not cancel the web.
Well, it seems to me that in AI you will not be able to apply the knowledge you already have.
Stay in test automation, just change the project or take another one for part time, so as not to "stagnate". Level up in technically more complex areas - testing architecture/frameworks, building infrastructure.

It seems to me that this is the best option, because in the first two cases you will have a very large downgrade in your career (especially in the case of AI)
